Training for operators of industrial chemical-physical wastewater systems

The legal requirements for operators of an industrial chemical-physical wastewater treatment system have been specified over the last few years from various legal fields or are already included in the indirect discharge permit . In the past, the operating personnel have proven to be a particular weak point, especially when the staffing of a wastewater system is constantly changing. The operator must provide its staff with appropriate training in civil law, administrative law and – in its own interests – criminal law aspects of its activities. On the one hand, the training courses cover the chemical-physical relationships without which the work cannot be carried out. On the other hand, according to the generally recognized rules of technology, which are concretised in DWA-M 1000 the “experience and knowledge of the statutory and administrative, civil and criminal law regulations, the relevant occupational health and safety regulations and the generally recognized rules of technology” must be imparted to technical managers and technical specialists.

The training courses for operators of wastewater systems are available as in-house training on site, as external training on site (incl. plant tour) for up to 20 people, online or as hybrid training (possibly with restrictions for on-site participants and depending on technical factors).
