Recycling of nickel out of rinse water and selective ion exchange SE1465Me – SE3072Me

Description

The unit consists of two ion exchange cartridges which are operated in-line. After having completed the regeneration the fresh regenerated cartridge is operated downstream to the other cartridge (Lead-Lag-Operation). The process adheres at any time to the prescribed limit values for nickel.
For regeneration sulphuric acid is used. In this procedure the regenerating acid is used several times to create a recyclable concentration.
A fraction of the Nickel-concentrate is removed at each regeneration and replaced by fresh acid. No Nickel-loaded rinsing water will be disposed as it remains in the system as feeding.
Acid and sodium hydroxide can be pumped from original containers if no storage tank is available.
